Dr. Mark Schelfhout is a chiropractor in Arlington Heights who serves Arlington Heights and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Mark was first introduced to chiropractic medicine when he was 6 years old, to help treat and reduce his symptoms for severe seasonal allergies. As he got older he then began to see and understand the benefits of chiropractic through athletics. During football season every Friday night was followed up by a Saturday morning chiropractic appointment which made a big difference in his recovery after a game. Having had a bad ankle injury and both shoulders separated during athletics chiropractic care helped him return to the field/court quickly.
Dr. Mark attended the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse for his undergraduate studies and then went on to Palmer Chiropractic College to receive his degree in 1994. He worked as an associate in Palatine for his first year after graduation and has been in private practice since 1995.
Dr. Mark lives locally and enjoys spending time with family and attending their activities.
